Enter the New Era of Mobile AI With Samsung Galaxy S24 Series

Samsung introduced Galaxy AI features last month with the Galaxy S24 series, and the brand today announced that some of them are coming to its TWS earphones.

Samsung has released an OTA in India that brings the Live Translation and Interpretation features from the Galaxy S24 series to the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Galaxy Buds2, and Galaxy Buds FE. The Korean brand also said these two features are on-device features on the Galaxy Buds, so an active internet connection is not required to use them.

Talking using Galaxy Buds, Live Translation lets customers view real-time call translation on the displays of the Galaxy S24 range, while Interpretation "provides a seamless two-way, face-to-face interpretation through Galaxy Buds interface."

In a press release, Samsung stated, "Users can directly speak into the Buds mic and their translated voice will now be available via the Galaxy S24 series enabling near-natural conversation between two individuals each holding Galaxy S24 series smartphone and Galaxy Buds respectively, eliminating the need to hand over the phone and manage translated talking."

Via an over-the-air (OTA) rollout, these Galaxy AI functions for the Galaxy Buds are already available in India and should soon expand to other regions.
